Tomorrow

Tomorrow I will be sitting in my house, and when I say my house I mean my house. That of which I bought with my money. Money that I have been working to get for years. I will be sitting there, reminiscing of Yesterday. Looking back on all the times I ran, all the people that I have talked to, all the special interactions that have occurred. All the notable faces, all the shitty essays that were written, and the athlete of the week awards. All the ships, friendships, and relationships alike. The smiles, the pain, the fun, the sad, the bad, the tired, and the melancholy. The sugar-free diet and the shin splints. The running races and her making my heart race. All the times I ran until I couldn’t breathe and all the times she took my breath away. Tomorrow I will look at the future taking in the past. Tomorrow I will be a different me.

Tomorrow I will look back on today as if it were Yesterday.
